1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal Information Provided by Users
SupportBee collects voluntarily-provided data including names and email addresses, usernames and passwords, contact preferences, payment information (processed by Stripe), billing addresses, and authentication data.
We do not process sensitive information regarding race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.
Information Automatically Collected
The platform automatically gathers IP addresses and browser characteristics, device information and operating system details, location data (based on IP address), log and usage data, and referral URLs and activity timestamps.
Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
SupportBee processes data for account creation and authentication, service delivery and support, administrative communications, marketing and promotional outreach, targeted advertising based on interests, security and fraud prevention, usage analytics and improvement, and campaign effectiveness measurement.
3. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
For EU/UK Users (GDPR)
We process data based on: Consent (withdrawable anytime), contract fulfillment, legitimate business interests, legal compliance obligations, and vital interest protection.
For Canadian Users
Express or implied consent applies, with exceptions for fraud prevention, business transactions, and legal requirements.
4. THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING
SupportBee shares information with ad networks and retargeting platforms, cloud computing and storage providers, data analytics services, payment processors, sales and marketing tools, social networks, authentication service providers, and performance monitoring tools.
They will not share your personal information with any organization apart from us.
5. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
The company uses cookies, web beacons, and pixels for security maintenance, site functionality and preferences, analytics tracking, and personalized advertising.
Google Analytics
Users can opt out via Google's opt-out tool and adjust ad preferences in Ads Settings.
6. SOCIAL LOGIN HANDLING
When users register via Facebook, X, or similar platforms, SupportBee receives profile name and email, friends list, profile picture, and publicly-shared information.
We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider.
7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.
Servers are located in the United States. We use Standard Contractual Clauses for EEA/UK transfers. A Data Processing Addendum is available upon request.
8. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than three (3) months past the termination of the user's account.
After the retention period ends, data is either deleted or anonymized unless legal requirements mandate extended storage.
9. SECURITY MEASURES
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process.
No electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
10. MINOR PROTECTION
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age.
Users must be 18+ or obtain parental consent. Discovered minor data triggers account deactivation.
11. PRIVACY RIGHTS
For EEA/UK/Switzerland/Canada Residents
You have the right to: access and copy personal data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and file complaints with data protection authorities.
Consent Withdrawal
Users can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
Marketing Opt-Out
You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send.
Account Management
Users can review, update, or delete account information through settings or via data subject access request.
12. DO-NOT-TRACK (DNT) POLICY
SupportBee does not currently respond to DNT browser signals as no uniform technology standard exists.
