SupportBee now integrates with Insightly CRM

Insightly is an easy to use CRM application for managing sales, contacts and more! You can checkout out their complete set of features here. This integration was a request from one of SupportBee’s customers using Insightly for their CRM.

Sync Customer information between Insightly & SupportBee

In Insightly, you can manage Customer information as Contacts. With this app you can now sync customer information between Insightly and SupportBee. Every time there is a new customer email in SupportBee, the app would automatically check if the customer contact exists in Insightly. If it does, the app would comment on the ticket with a link to the customer’s profile in Insightly.

If the contact does not already exist in Insightly, the app would create a new contact in Insightly. It would also add a comment on the ticket, with a link to the newly created Insightly profile of the customer.

Create Insightly Tasks from Customer Emails in SupportBee

In Insightly, projects can be managed as Tasks. Companies can create multiple projects, and associate tasks to those projects. Using the Insightly app, support agents can create Insightly tasks directly from SupportBee.

Often times bug reports or feature requests that come from customers are manually updated in Bug tracking softwares or project management tools. With this integration, such requests can be directly sent from the support software (SupportBee) to Insightly as tasks, in just a few clicks.

Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1

Choose a Customer Email, and click on Apps.


Step 2

Click on ‘Send to Insightly’, the fields would be automatically populated with relevant information. The app would fill in the description of the task with the contents of the email and also add a link to the SupportBee ticket so your team can follow-up once the task is completed.


A link to the Insightly Task is also posted on the ticket as a comment for future reference. These comments can be viewed only by the support agents and not by your customers.
