SupportBee’s Knowledge Base Software helps you create documentation or FAQ sites for your product/service. The software is easy to use and it integrates with our Email ticketing system so users can access the Knowledge Base in just a click from within the ticketing system.
Here’s some quick information on how you can add inline images, and embed videos and code snippets in your Knowledge Base articles.
Adding inline images
The way to add images inline in your Kbee articles is by dragging and dropping them into the content editor.
To embed videos, you can use the ‘Source’ option in the content editor. You can paste the embed code in that window and click on the ‘Save article’ option below the editor. Here’s a screenshot for reference:
When you preview the article after saving it, you will be able to see the video in the content (as shown below).
Although the Kbee editor allows for entering code blocks, the site is not set up to display code. An easy workaround is to add the code as a public or private gist and embed the code block in the Kbee editor. We will soon add the ability to add code blocks directly to the editor.
Here’s a screenshot of a sample public gist:
As mentioned for video embeds, you can use the ‘Source’ window to embed your code.
Once the article is saved, you will be able to view the code block in the preview.
